Refund Claims

This table shows refund claims processed during the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. During this period, the Department of Revenue processed 2,430 claims resulting in total refunds of $2,626,336. During the same period in the previous fiscal year, the Department of Revenue processed 2,295 claims resulting in total refunds of $2,185,575.

Audits

This table summarizes the audits completed in the last two fiscal years by tax program. In 2017/2018, several large taxpayers were audited, resulting in a decreased number of audits. In addition, audits found several taxpayers had overstated their tax liability, resulting in a smaller net tax assessment for the fiscal year.
