Changes in Local Sales and Use Tax Rates – Effective January 1, 2017

LINCOLN – Tax Commissioner Tony Fulton announced that effective January 1, 2017, the village of Meadow Grove will start a new local sales and use tax at the rate of 1.5%. Additionally, Elmwood, Weeping Water, and Wilber will each increase its local sales and use tax rate to 1.5%, and Papillion will increase its local sales and use tax rate to 2%.
