Charitable Gaming Activity
April – June 2013

LINCOLN – Tax Commissioner Doug Ewald reported today that total dollars wagered on charitable gaming activities for April through June 2013 were $64.3 million, which is 2.87% less than the previous quarter, when $66.2 million was wagered.

FY 2012-2013 Dollars Wagered. Total dollars wagered on charitable gaming activities for FY 2012-2013 were $253 million, which is 2.3% more than in FY 2011-2012 when $247.3 million was wagered.

FY 2012-2013 License and Registration Fees. License and registration fees collected from charitable gaming activities in FY 2012-2013 were $170,000 compared to $335,000 collected in FY 2011-2012. The decreased collection is attributable to county, city, village, and lottery operator biennial license renewals for keno, which were collected during the previous fiscal year.
