Charitable Gaming Activity
April – June 2014

Dollars Wagered: Tax Commissioner Kim Conroy reported that total dollars wagered on charitable gaming activities for April through June 2014 were $63.2 million, which is 7.6% less than the previous quarter, when $68.4 million was wagered.

FY 2013-2014 Dollars Wagered: Total dollars wagered on charitable gaming activities for FY 2013-2014 were $256.9 million, which is 1.5% more than in FY 2012-2013 when $253 million was wagered.

FY 2013-2014 License and Registration Fees: License and registration fees collected from charitable gaming activities in FY 2013-2014 were $320,000, compared to $170,000 collected in FY 2012-2013. The increase is attributable to county, city, village, and lottery operator biennial license renewals for keno, which were collected during this fiscal year.
